    Inactive Account Cleanup

    May 30, 2019, 9:37 a.m.

As we've mentioned a few times in the past, we'll be doing an inactive account cleanup over the next 24 hours. This first batch will focus on accounts not logged into in the last 4 months (so since Feb 1st). In the future, we'll probably make this an ongoing task with a 3 month window.

    Payouts Delayed for 29th

    May 30, 2019, 12:31 a.m.

We had a large chunk of backed up rounds today due to a script failure. We are going to hold off on payouts until we can get some more pushed through. We may do one in the morning, or hold off and combine it with tomorrow's at the normal time.

    Sorry for the inconvenience

Payouts Delayed due to coin issues!

    May 10, 2019, 10:38 p.m.

Just wanted to post a quick update to let everyone know that payouts tonight will be delayed until tomorrow.

This is due to a couple of reasons the two main ones being that Shibe coin was forked, we will update everyone on that situation tomorrow or whenever the dev's release a statement. Another reason being a newer coin we added has a very long mature time so the coins will not be able to be traded tonight.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but prepare for a double payout tomorrow night!

    Payouts for April 28th 2014

    April 29, 2019, 1:18 a.m.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but payouts for tonight are delayed. We'll either try and push them out tomorrow morning, or simply combine them with tomorrow's payout.

    New Payout Options / Payouts / PoolPicker.eu

    April 23, 2019, 11:56 p.m.

As Many of you may have noticed, Hashcows now offers the ability to be paid out in a number of different alt-coins, instead of BTC. This has no affect on keeping alts we mine, it only converts your otherwise-earned BTC into the ALT of your choice. This new experiment started with MintCoin, and grew from there. The lineup has since grown to include; BC, C2 (NC2), CINNI, ECC, FAC, HBN, MINT, PMC, QRK, TOP, ZEIT.

We are always happy to entertain further coin adds, though we prefer they be community driven vs. a single miner coming with a request.

Note on payouts: As of late, we've been mining a lot of WC and AC. (We were in both very early, much earlier than the big boys). These coins are going through a fairly decent dump period, and we have quite a backlog to work through. Instead of just dumping them all on market for reduced profits, we try and hold some back for the right time to move them. Mining these coins as a majoriy can often cause skewed stats and skewed payouts. We often end up with a large chunk of a days mining carried forward a day or two. If you've been consistently mining with us and continue to do so, you wouldn't really notice an issue, as you'd always have mining payouts backed up and it'd all be rather seemless. However, if your new to the pool and haven't been mining, you may find the first day or two things look rather bleak, because our payouts those days were made up mostly of rounds from a day or two previous. Things should all even out, but it takes more than a day.

In a similar vain, the above affects our numbers on poolpicker.eu. Often people see high rates, then come and mine, and wonder why they don't see the same. Sometimes they've mined a day and don't end up with the reported rate for that night. Our number at poolpicker is simply the total btc we pay out that night divided by our average hashrate for the day. This means that, as stated above, if you just started here, and we happened to pay out a majority from the previous day, your rate wont reflect whats shown on poolpicker.
